A CRAFTY DRAUGHT

Looking to bring home a Blithering Idiot or can’t decide between a Hoppy IPA and a smooth Pilsner?

You don’t have to make up your mind when you shop or take a seat at Brew & Co. in Bedford Hills. The craft beer store which doubles as a taproom not only carries approximately 500 selections of beer in bottles or cans, and a number of hard ciders, but customers choose from a rotating assortment of 12 draft options or one hard cider at the bar while nibbling on snacks.

You can quaff a glass of beer, fill a growler, or enjoy a beer flight where four beers are sampled. Brew & Co. prides itself on what its beer monger Zander McKernan terms “hand service.”

The store, which focuses on American beer with a small selection of imports, serves both customers who are well-versed in craft beer and those looking for recommendations.

McKernan has a wine background and notes, “Beer can definitely be paired with food, and people drink different varieties in different seasons.”
